Plant Description

Cherokee Princess Dogwood is a small deciduous tree native to the Eastern United States. Its pale green foliage changes to red-brown in fall before falling and is loaded with red berries.. Cherokee Princess Dogwood is an excellent tree for lawns and gardens because of its relatively small size. In early spring, Cherokee Princess Dogwood treats us to numerous bright white flowers that attract bees and butterflies. Cherokee Princess Dogwoods do best in moist, acidic soil and enjoy full sun. Boyd Nursery advices caution when watering your dogwood in the morning. Do not under any circumstances wet Dogwood foliage in the morning, as wet foliage makes ideal conditions for certain diseases.
